General Pre-order Terms & Conditions — Vliegwork

By placing a pre-order for this limited-edition collectible (size: 40 cm), the buyer expressly and unconditionally agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Price and Payment Structure

  • The total retail price of the collectible is €899,- (including VAT, excluding shipping costs) and Duty fees .

  • A non-refundable deposit (€899,-) is required to secure the pre-order.

    The pre-order is only officially reserved once this deposit has been received.

  • As soon as your order is ready, I will send an email confirming your exact shipment date, final shipping fees and import taxes.

  • The product will only be shipped when the collectable has been paid in full.

2. Minimum Order Quantity & Cancellation by Creator

  • Production will only commence if a predefined minimum number of pre-orders is reached to make the realization of the project viable.

  • If this minimum number is not achieved, the project will be cancelled. In this event, the buyer will receive a full refund of the deposit (€899,-) within 14 days. No claims can be made for delivery or compensation.

3. Cancellation by Buyer (Non-Refundable Deposit)

  • Because this is an exclusive, limited production run for which raw materials are purchased in advance, the deposit is strictly non-refundable.

  • If the buyer chooses to cancel the pre-order at any point after production planning has started, the deposit will be retained by Vliegwork to cover incurred costs and reserved production capacity.

4. Failure to Complete Final Payment

  • Upon completion of the collectible, the final invoice must be paid within 14 days.

  • If the full payment is not received within this period (and after at least one written reminder), Vliegwork reserves the right to cancel the pre-order. In this case, the deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation and storage fee, and the collectible will be released for sale to third parties.

5. Intellectual Property & Concept Rights

  • All rights to the design, characters, digital renders, and the physical collectible remain the exclusive property of the creator (Vliegwork) at all times.

  • The buyer is strictly prohibited from reproducing, copying, scanning for 3D printing, or commercially exploiting the artwork or any part of it.

6. Product Specifications and Renders

  • All images displayed on the website and social media channels are digital 3D renders.

  • Due to the artisanal and specialized production process of materials such as metal or resin, the final physical product may vary from the digital renders in look, detail, color, weight, and texture.

7. Limited Edition and Random Numbering

  • This collectible is strictly limited to a maximum production run of 50 pieces worldwide.

  • Each piece will be individually numbered (e.g., X/50).

  • Edition numbers are assigned entirely at random. It is not possible to request, reserve, or exchange specific numbers.

8. Timeline, Shipping, and Risk

  • The estimated delivery for the collectible is the end of October. Please note that this timeline is an estimate and is strictly subject to changes. Delays caused by the complex and handcrafted production process do not entitle the buyer to a cancellation, discount, or compensation.

  • Shipping costs are not included in the base price and will be calculated and added to the final invoice.

  • All collectibles are shipped exclusively via tracked, insured, and signed-for delivery to cover loss or damage during transit.

  • Any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees for shipments outside the European Union are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
